Before we conceived, my husband brought home a brochure one day. It was for an organization in Israel called Efrat. They reached out to people considering abortion and tried to help them reconsider if financial reasons were their main concern. My husband and I had decided to go ahead and sponsor a child. We felt good, even if we could not have one of our own, we were helping someone else have theirs who would not have been able to.
A few months after we conceived, we received a certificate in the mail. A baby had been born, thanks to our donation! And the baby was born the same weekend I had taken the ovidrel. We were elated! We were convinced that G-d was helping us because we helped bring a soul into the world.
